“Carpe diem! Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day; live life to the fullest; make the most of what you have. It is later than you think.”—Horace
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.”—Eleonara Duse
I have been watching the wisteria over a period of 3 weeks or so. They have been in celebration ever since I saw a few spiraling clusters of what I thought would be leaves, but they turned out to be flowers.
What an explosion of blooms now. When I saw the first fuzzy baby leaves, I was so touched and reassured of the continuation of life, the circle of life.
I can feel happiness expanding when I stand near the fragrant wisteria plant. Oh how I love the color!
“When there’s new growth bursting out all over, everything fresh, green, and flourishing, the plants are little rockets of success going off every time you look at them.”
“Silently a flower blooms,
In silence it falls away;
Yet here now, at this moment, at this place,
The world of the flower, the whole of
the world is blooming.
This is the talk of the flower, the truth
of the blossom:
The glory of eternal life is fully shining here. ”
