High up in the mountains
The sound of the river calming me
A place for me to relax and breathe
I can almost hear the river right now
And feel the cool gentle breeze
And the soft melody of the wind playing upon the grasses
One thing I like about photography and going out into Nature
Is my mind stops chattering so much
It gives my mind a vacation

I have been watching the wisteria over a period of 3 weeks or so. They have been in celebration ever since I saw a few spiraling clusters of what I thought would be leaves, but they turned out to be flowers.
What an explosion of blooms now. When I saw the first fuzzy baby leaves, I was so touched and reassured of the continuation of life, the circle of life.
I can feel happiness expanding when I stand near the fragrant wisteria plant. Oh how I love the color!

Like sky flowers and stars paying a visit from the heavens…

When I saw this magnolia flower on a newly blossoming tree, I had to stop and breathe in its smile, its freshness.
Also, it was a reflection image for me in the Lenten Photo-A-Day activity I spoke of yesterday. The focus word was: alone.

When I saw this beautiful scene, it was my birthday. I was high up in the Rocky Mountains on a morning hike. It seemed like there were diamonds glittering in the water near the duck. The thought of my late husband and ancestors came to mind. I made a comfort card using the words suggested by Mother Nature:
