Breathing in, I center myself
Breathing out, I feel free
“Today is my day to dance lightly with life,
sing wild songs of adventure,
invite rainbows & butterflies out to play,
soar my spirit, and unfurl my joy.”

focus word: place
Now is a dwelling place, a space. Wherever you go, it can be your home, a place of awareness, a place where Divine can be felt. Present moment. Eternal moment.
The heart is a space from which one can call upon Divine 24/7.
Reminds me of Jesus’ words about place: “The last will be first, and the first will be last.”
Align Divine, and all will be fine, will fall into place.
“Nothing is less real than realism. Details are confusing. It is only be selection, by emphasis that we get at the real meaning of things.”—Georgia O’Keefe

“One moment is eternity;
eternity is the now.
When you see through this one instant,
you see through the one who sees.”-Wu Men [1183-1260], quoted in “The Enlightened Heart”, edited by Stephen Mitchell
May the bird call
be my voice
the wind
be my breath
the rivers
be my blood
the soil
be my skin
the rocks
be my bones
the grasses
be my hair
the branches
be my fingersMay earth spinning
be my danceLet no part of me
ever be separate again
Let no part of you
be unknown to me
Earth of my body
Body of the Earth-Karen Zeiders
“Look to this day, for it is life, the very life of life! In its brief course lie all the verities and all the realities of your existence: the bliss of growth; the glory of action; the splendor of beauty. For yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this day!”
– Hindu Scriptures
This is a collaborative collage I did with my friends for Amma’s Circle of Love Letters a few years ago….
narrow gate?
kingdom of present moment
eternal now
ribbons like mindfulness bells
reminders to celebrate each moment
to choose happiness
to align with love
reminders to be like a child (to enter the kingdom of heaven)
they live in the present moment
what opens the gate?
love, gratitude, being present, innocence
my nature children
all too quickly seasons come go
children look through the lens of wonder
living in the now
making me pause
old nows
become forever
