Blooming for only 1 day

Blooming for only 1 day

“The nature of This Flower is to bloom.”—Alice Walker

These irises bloom only for a day. It seems that while it is happily in bloom, it thinks not of tomorrow. It experiences freedom in the present moment.

“A flower has a short life span, yet it offers itself wholeheartedly to others. It offers its own nectar to the bees — and this brings happiness.” -Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi)

Man and Nature

“We inter-breathe with the rain forests, we drink from the oceans. They are part of our own body. “

—Thich Nhat Hanh

“The purpose of life is undoubtedly to know oneself. We cannot do it unless we learn to identify ourselves with all that lives. The sum-total of that life is God.”

—Mahatma Gandhi

Unstoppable

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be”.

–Patanjali
